We are overjoyed to announce that we have received an INCREDIBLE grant from Cummings Foundation! It is rare to be selected in your first year of application but we are SO grateful for this opportunity. Support from Cummings Foundation pays for a part time Resident Services Coordinator over the next three years to provide much needed support and services to our amazing families.
Please check out the Cummings Foundation! They award at least $30 million each year, and has awarded nearly $480 million in total to date, to a widely diverse group of local greater Boston nonprofits in Middlesex, Essex, and Suffolk counties.
Casa Mariposa has been selected as a Safety Net Grant recipient by the Boston Foundation for a two-year $50,000 general operating support grant. The Boston Foundation is committed to closing the gaps on this region’s greatest disparities.
Through their resources and relationships the Foundation works to open pathways to opportunity and build and sustain vital, prosperous and equitable communities. This grant was awarded through a competitive process and Casa Mariposa is honored to have the Boston Foundation’s support.
Bushrod H. Campbell and Adah F. Hall Charity Fund
Casa Mariposa is proud to have been chosen as a grant recipient of the Bushrod H. Campbell and Adah F. Hall Charity Fund. The Fund makes grants for programs targeting the needs of elderly, infirm, homeless, as well as for programs addressing issues related to education, social justice, and economic opportunity in the Greater Boston area. Casa Mariposa was awarded $10,000 to support our programs in 2025.
As a Greek immigrant who settled in Lynn, Massachusetts and owned property in the neighboring town of Saugus, Louis Gerondelis wanted his Foundation to benefit the people of his native country as well as his adopted home. The Gerondelis Foundation focuses its support on organizations that serve Greeks, Greek-Americans and the communities of Lynn and Saugus. Thank you for supporting Casa Mariposa with a $5,000 grant!
Anne C. and David J. Bromer Fund
We are thrilled to announce that the Anne C. and David J. Bromer Fund (a Donor Advised Fund at the Boston Foundation) has contributed $15,000 to Casa Mariposa to support with housing costs. This donor learned about Casa Mariposa from The Boston Foundation’s press release about Safety Net Grantees and was moved to support us with these additional funds. Thank you!
